Newcomers Ministry Team
The Newcomers Ministry is a plan we have
established and facilitated
by church members who are willing to reach out to
our new-comers and guests and make them feel welcome here at Cypress Chapel.
While the entire worship experience is very important for visitors and guests, having a meaningful encounter with a lay person is also key.
Hospitality is the responsibility of every person who
participates in worship on a regular basis. Our Newcomer Ministry Plan guides us as we make contact with our visitors and follow-up in a timely way, either by phone or a written note. We have volunteers to do this including the core committee and our Deacon wives.

You will see our greeters wearing a smile and welcoming our fellow worshippers. A warm welcome is a visible way to share our joy of worship and delight in God’s love for us.
You may also notice our ushers extending the welcome of the greeters by “ushering” in our guests.

with the goal to make sure all who visit with us at
Cypress Chapel are given the opportunity to discover
everything that is available to them here.
